Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) partnered with Vincent Andrisani for this special episode of The Place of Sound – a radio show/podcast produced in Carleton University’s Communication and Media Studies Program. The program airs on CKCU FM and explores the idea of ‘place’ through the ears of students.

 

For this episode, students recorded and submitted audio portraits alongside songs that fit with their portrait. I then edited the pieces together and crafted “place-based” soundscapes to tie everything together.
