I have the great fortune of being hired to film performances at the Ottawa Dance Directive. Usually I am hired to record performances for grant and archival purposes.

 

For this project in particular, I was asked to also edit a few promo videos, designed for Instagram, to promote the Compagnie ODD’s performances of Empty Space Empty Time and Worlds Within. These performances were created by choreographer Yvonne Coutts and composer/cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne. Performers include Amanda Bon, Yvonne Coutts, Jacqueline Ethier, Alya Graham, Sarah Hopkin, and Raphael Weinroth-Browne.

 

Since the 45-minute piece is so dynamic, I created two promos — the above version showcases high energy moments in the performance and the below version shares the slower more intimate moments in the show.
