For the Giasson as Others exhibit, the Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) ​​commissioned eight guest writers to author label texts to accompany Giasson’s photographs. In turn, these texts were read by actor and artist Matt Miwa and were shared as an audio accompaniment to the exhibition on CUAG’s website.

These recordings were captured during the 2021 COVID lockdown using the voice artist’s home setup while connecting and recording via an online platform.
