Based on my master’s thesis research, I built an interactive training module to help teach medical students how to better communicate with geriatric patients. Initially created on DVD, I have updated the module as a PowerPoint Presentation. Please feel free to download and use it by clicking on “Download PPT” above!

Note that the training module contains embedded youtube videos so you will need to enable media content when you open the presentation, and you will need a high speed internet connection. This presentation can only be opened in Microsoft PowerPoint. It cannot be opened in open office or on a mobile phone.

Please feel free to use this module for teaching purposes (let me know by emailing me at admin@nicolebedford.ca so I can keep track!). So far it has been used at Queen’s University, University of Western Ontario, and by a Pastoral Care group in Ottawa.
